Humanitarian admission from Greece: MOI admission order published

In coordination with the federal states, the Federal Ministry of the Interior, for Building and Homeland Affairs (MOI) created the framework for the reception of 1.553 persons who have already been granted international protection in the Greek asylum procedure with the reception order of 9 October 2020.
The persons in question must have been granted international protection before 9 September 2020. Furthermore, they must have already had their usual residence on one of the Greek islands Lesbos, Chios, Samos, Kos or Leros before that date.
According to the admission order, the selection criteria for the applicants are, in particular, the preservation of family unity and family or other ties to Germany which are conducive to integration.
